How it Works
All Wills & Estates matters start with an Initial Consultation. This is a session with a senior solicitor from our team for us to understand your unique circumstances and provide you with tailored advice, as well as answer any questions you may have. Typically this consultation will run for around 1 to 1.5 hours and is a fixed rate of $275 inc GST. During this session we will also be able to provide you with a price guide based on your requirements, however as a guide costs per person typically sit between $550 and $1,250 incl GST.
There is no pressure to proceed during the consultation, we will simply assist you with preliminary estate planning and note any instructions or wishes you provide to hold on file should you wish to proceed.
Should you decide to proceed, we will confirm all instructions with you and commence drafting your documents. Once these are completed you will be sent draft copies to review, and we will attend to any revisions as required. Once you are happy with the draft documents, we will convert these to final and schedule a session to have you attend our office to execute all documents.
What happens to my Documents?
You can either elect to keep your original documents yourself (we will keep an electronic copy on file) or you can direct us to have the documents stored in safe custody, with you being provided an electronic copy and/or a certified physical copy.
What do I need to bring to a Consultation?
Absolutely nothing is required, however if you have existing estate documents on hand, these can be useful. We will work with you during the consultation to clarify your instructions, and if there are any documents or other information you don’t have on hand that are relevant to us, we’ll ask you to obtain these documents following the consultation.
